Windshield glass replacement

It has been a little more than a month since I last posted about finding a replacement driver's side windshield for our 1991. To recapitulate, others kindly referred me to InlandRV in California and a similar vendor in Salt Lake.
So, it's time to ask again: does anyone know of a vendor for used or new windshield grass for a 1991 350LE that is not West of the Mississippi?

Thanks--
Rob

Thumbs up Thanks!

Thanks very much for this. I have requested a quote from Coach Glass, as the nearest Airstream dealer in North Carolina is in Charlotte--about seven hours away by road.

Again, thanks very much.

Find a local windshield installer that works on trucks, they can order directly from Coach Glass.

Make sure you specify the colo(u)r of the tint across the top of the screen. Current screens come with a grey tint by default, but I have also seen blue and turquoise tints.

May not seem much but it will frustrate the heck out of you every time you look out!

Martin when the guy did mine there is a small number code in the bottom corner of the glass. With that code everything was an easy match.

Yes that is the code. We did the wind shields on two Airstreams here in the yard about 4 years apart. The guy sourced the glass and gasket both times for much less than what Airstream quoted. Mine was done in cooler winter temps and the gasket was very difficult to work with. The second coach was done in the summer and the gasket was so much easier to work with that he gave the couple $100 off the installation quote.

A good glass shop should be able to handle trucks, busses, construction equip, and mohos in addition to cars.
