Dan, I bought the same two kits some time ago after reading Steve's exploits using the same tools

Like you I haven't used them as yet. I've been waiting until I started reworking the wiring on the Argosy which for various reasons keeps getting delayed

Now that I'm moving the Argosy into the shop I should be putting them to good use in the near future.

Brad

Just a couple miles down the road from me is this "candy" store. (Magnum Trailers).
They even had replacement (minor shaving required) lenses for the tail lights.
Since I have not gotten myself to pony up the $$ for LED replacement tail lights, it was a happy find for 2.50 ea

Been a while since I actually bought anything for my Argosy but Sunday I decided it was time to buy a swivel base and a 6-way power pedestal. Only bought the drivers side since they didn't provide any break on shipping cost for buying two of each and I wanted to make sure there everything would fit together.

I bought the seats earlier this year, same type of seats Martin used in his Argosy. Here's everything laid out on the floor and of course nothing bolts directly together so I'll have to make adapters for each side.

Unfortunately it will be a while before I can do anything else as I've committed my time for the next few weeks helping a friend with his new house.

This week, its some service items via Rockauto.

Carter Mechanical fuel pump, $17.40... mine has failed I think.

Powermax 8mm sparkplug wires... Federal-Mogul, at $13.89 each, so I bought 2 sets! Even came with grease for the connectors.

My lucky day!
Saw this 2 year old Suburban NT-34 on craigslist for 160.- That would make a nice spare, I thought. (like I need more crap laying around)
It got cold, so I turned the furnace on in the 310 or lets say tried to. ..
Pulling a furnace in the 310 with wood flooring installed can turn into a big project. Turned out well and whilst I was digging into the cabinets, I also reconnected some of the missing ducts. What gets me is when people start a project and stop smack in the middle of it and leave stuff dangling. I mean really, when do think they will finish it. Argggghh

Yep, I had to replace the furnace on the 310 and it had carpeting. Really difficult to get it raised high enough to clear the carpet.

Good think you had a spare on hand...

Peter, you get zero sympathy from me!

I've got a gutted Argosy with the engine and transmission sitting on stands with a pallet rack full of parts. Worse, I can't find enough time to work on it
