Pair of MaxxAir 7500K fans and other goodies

Time to sink some cash into my 1986 345. I bought a pair of these Maxxair 7500k fans. They seemed to have good reviews the poor old original fans just aren't usable anymore. Although they work perfectly they are loud and unpleasant when running.

I also just had all the airbags replaced, new Michelin steer tires (ouch in price), new Winegard Rayzar HD Antenna, and a new Dometic Classic Refrigerator.

Tried to get a Banks system installed at Camping World and they completely hosed me over. Originally said they cold install it for $624 and then after I purchased the system and was all psyched to have them install it the service manager told me that there was no way he could do it for that price and that it would be a minimum of 20 hours at $139.00 a hour. So upset!

Anyhow happy RVing everyone

Dadstoy,
The new antenna works really well so far. From the house I get around 30 channels and the picture is great. I have not had an opportunity to try it out in the woods yet but will report back.

Thanks,
Garry

Along with all new weep hole covers and two Maxxfan 6200k fans, new Alpine head for the stereo, some Alpine speakers, new tap for my 12 volt 5 gallon fresh water system, LED tail lamps with a Shelby sequential system and just in case....a brand new NOS Keeler main door lock. One of two, I bought mine last night and the other was gone by this morning.

Cheers
Tony

I installed those same Maxxfans Tony and have been real happy with them. Not sure why so many folks continue to buy the Fan-tastic fans and then have to buy and install those big covers when these are available. Maybe Im missing something

I'm happy to say I got the first of the 3 Keeler latch assemblies that the seller put up on ebay

Oh yeah, about a month or so ago I bought a pair of the Stow-N-Go seats like Martin is using in his rebuild.

Not missing anything chum, you're just smarter than the average bear. I'm just not sure yet how I'm going about getting power to the fan in the back bedroom as I don't have a fan back there.

I was wondering who'd pipe up saying they bought the last latch..... It sure didn't take me long to decide to buy; longer for the seller to accept my offer. Glad they all went to good homes.

I was hoping to have added a NOS key cylinder for the Keeler lock from Vintage Airstream supply but they are out of stock now. After three months of the locksmith having my lock last summer to find a cylinder that would work; me wedging the company truck up against my door to close it, I would love to have an extra key cylinder.

It was a good weekend for all.
Cheers
Tony

Planning on buying a 15,000btu A/C heat pump for my '79 28' MH. So many choices. I'm thinking Coleman. Any thoughts on this choice? Any advice welcome! Also saw a 20' Argosy MH in front of a Pawn Shop today.

Alcoa Aluminum Rims

Thanks to SV34 I finally found a complete set of Alcoa Aluminum Wheels that I'd been trying to find for many years and also the Airstream steering wheel. Had the rims buffed and polished after receiving them. Quite pleased with how they turned out.

Wow, those rims are awesome, I have been looking for quite a while, let me know if you see any others for sale, I am definitely interested in a set for my 325LE.

There was a post a while back by SC34 that was going to do a roof tear off repair on his 1992 36' Land Yacht, once he got the roof off he decided to much of the steel roof framing was to far gone to be worth repairing. I contacted him about any plans on parting it out and if he was I would be interested in the aluminum wheels and the steering wheel. Both are hard to come by especially the rims as Alcoa stopped making them. I have been looking for many years but your best bet is if you can find someone else parting out their coach, if I hear of any I'll let you know. I do have a complete set of original AS Steel simulator in very good condition for sale if anyone is interested.
