It is...it gives you overdrive and under drive, so overdrive on the highway and a gear between 2 and 3 for those long hills. Better gas mileage? We'll see...

Don't mean to be picky but the Gear Vendor gives you overdrive an direct. It is a great addition.

Well back a while ago I posted that I got a fridge. Now I got a fridge vent fan. I also discovered the reason my new fridge will not switch automatically from elec to LP - no 12V DC connection.

Question: Where is 12V DC located in the fridge vent area?

My old fridge only had the AC and LP hooked up.

Ever since purchase of my Airstream, I've always been missing brake pedal pad. Quick look online found one for $2.34, but then $12 shipping?
Local Chevy dealer to the rescue! $5!

My coach is having necessary repairs right now. I thought I was just needing brakes but found a cracked transmission!!! So while we're at it here's what it's been getting replaced for the past 2 weeks. Brakes, calipers, hydraulic brake hoses, rotors turned, manifold gasket, tranny gasket and filter all hoses replaced, valve cover gasket, tune up, donut rings, front stock shocks, power steering gear box, dash ac work and of course transmission rebuilt and welded. Ran across this Teleflex electronic speedometer on ebay that is a style match for the gauges used in the 80s Classics. Got it cheap enough to make it worth tinkering with.

I'm going to try using the signal from the cruise control speed sensor to see if it provides the proper signal. Sure would be nice to eliminate that long speedometer cable!
