New air coil springs, rear air shock traverse pins and bushings, shocks for the Henschen tag wheels, front shocks all now installed and the big one, (I'm in the middle of install , hope to finish by mid week) a throtel body fuel injector system from Holley. If I get the low end of antisipated MPG increase, should pay back the system before I get back to S. Fl in the end of July or Aug.

Definitely post your MPG findings once your trip is over. There are distinct advantages to using a TBI over a carburetor and if it can be justified via cost savings that's the way to go.

My moho came with no roof dish so I added a digital antenna - anyone know if I can re-splice into the cable sticking up out of the roof? I've never messed with tv wires.. trip to radio shack I guess.

The cable sticking up out of the roof is coaxial. Pretty much any hardware store will have coax connectors and a simple tool that makes stripping the insulation easy. Google for instructions if they don't come with the tool. If your antenna also has coax cable you should be able to put a regular coax connector on the roof cable and buy an adaptor that connects the two cables.
Ok this has been here for a few weeks, but a BIG KUDOS to bkahler (Brad) for parting out the 345 and selling off items no longer available.
Believe I'm going to clean this as well as all other pieces. Why not do it right???

Brad, it got here just as I was starting vacation a couple of weeks ago. Got lost in all of the mail that came while I was out, lol.

New Antenna
My Winegard antenna didn't operate very well. I think it got beat up a few times by the PO. I replaced it today with a JACK Digital HDTV antenna with a built in signal meter. Installation went pretty well after I got the old one off and the calk cleaned up.
Powered it up and no signal meter. The power LED comes on but none of the signal LEDs will illuminate. I'm at home so I know which way to point it. The antenna seems to work pretty well. The signal meter on the TV only shows about 40-50% which seems a bit week to me based on where I am. The picture looks great.
I contacted King and am waiting to hear back.
I do like the looks of the antenna and will no longer have to worry about driving off with it extended.
Only problem I see is that this item shows a warning, can't handle more than 10 seconds of an overload, rated for 20 amps, take reading and pull it out fast. It would be great for double checking LED values against incandescent in circuit.
You are correct Dave... and now I look HF has a 30a version..
This is something I planned to leave in the AS for travel emergencies.
I think I will get the 30a too... $10 is worth it.
So, if I get one of these and plug it in to a digital multimeter, will it give me the same information? Assuming, of course, that I can figure out how to set the multimeter....
I've seen these many times over the years, and when I found this little gem on Amazon, I couldn't help myself. A 4-person fold up picnic table! And I've got the perfect place to store it!

Jacked up Jack Antenna.
I got a bad antenna head. King had me pull the head and check the voltage on the coax. 12 volts as it should be. Plugged in the old Wingard head and everything including the signal meter fried right up. Good signal on the TV. 100% with the Wingard head vs 40% with the bad Jack antenna. Hopefully the replacement will link up with us somewhere on our month long trip.
If anyone gets one I'd recommend hooking it it all together and trying it before installing it on the roof.

Last year I was in a pretty bad car accident involving a Drunk Driver. Settlement check got here this week!
Two new Duo-Therm A/C 15,000BTU units ordered, (I fully realize that these units are TALL, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up) as well as a new Fantastic Fan 6000 to replace that monstrous 'Kool-O-Matic in kitchen ceiling area.
Now to get this thing fired up and take it to the tire dealer for a new set of tires!

So, CitriStrip is really good for clear coat, not so much for roofing paint! Aircraft Stripper on it's way by Saturday!
I'm gonna get this roof stripped if it means soda blasting.....lol

That's the best I've found for those really tough jobs! Aircraft use really tough urethanes and epoxy based paints like DuPont Imrom. It eats anything and doesn't harm aluminum like alkaline strippers that cause hydrogen embrittlement. Not so much a concern if you keep the Airstream under 500 kts. Just keep in mind that its methylene chloride and it will kill your liver. Avoid skin contact and use a chemical respirator. Heed the warnings. Use a roller and cover area with Saran Wrap while it works. It keeps the volatiles from evaporating an will save some steps. Aluminum tape and aluminum foil works well for masking. Pressure washing works well to remove softened paint.
Sometimes, a coating that really doesn't want to come off actually makes a good subsurface if its properly prepared the accept a top coat.
Dry ice is really the state of the art environmentally friendly media blasting friendly system.
An ice scraper! About 12 inches and still falling. Fired up the furnaces. Rear cranked right up. Front lights for a few seconds and flame go out. I believe there is a flame sensor that is not detecting a flame.
Dakota - I feel your pain! We are in Longmont.... I am officially ready for spring or summer - whichever comes first! Can't complain though after last year's fires...
