Here's some pictures of a few more things that came in while I was out of town on business.

Mud Dauber screens for the furnace and hot water heater. I live in Mud Dauber paradise so these are essential items to have.

Next is an adjustable hole cutter. This type of cutter is used in the sheet metal industry however it also makes nice holes in sheet aluminum. Since I'm making a new instrument cluster for the dash I needed something that could cut holes for a variety of sizes. A friend of mine who is building his own airplane is using one just like it and swears by it.

I picked up a new service entrance panel and a 50 amp transfer switch. I'm happy to say the installation went better than I had hoped for.

And last but not least I finally found what I hope is the appropriate material to make a gasket for the stove vent. The Argosy gasket is missing in action so I'm hoping to get this in stalled before the Mud Daubers start flying which is likely to be any day now

Hey Dave, is the "Ebay-Bucks" program finishing to make way for the Ebay-Pounds-Shillings-and-Pence? ROFL...

Brad has been a busy boy...

Good job we have been good recently... well except for these...
6 pass Perma-Cool transmission cooler... with fan and a remote filter kit..
The 6 pass 10" X 21" cooler WITHOUT the fan, is rated for 30,000lb GVW... I think it will be enough...

Ebay bucks ended because Canada has done away with the penny and Government mandates that all totals must be rounded up to nickle value.
Ebay to cheap???????????

Here is another box that was sitting by my desk at home when I got back from my trip Friday night.

I'm hoping to get it mounted while I'm up on the roof installing the new air conditioner. With luck that will be this weekend!

Hey Brad with all the beans your spending on the Arg I thought you would have gone for satellite dish,

As for the faucet thanks for the info... I'm hoping to counter that by installing an air hook-up line on the water system off the pump to blow the water out at winter time .... oh and in Canada we do get a few degrees down there so to us the lowest you guys in Kentucky get is a long fall season

As far as I'm concerned, a satellite dish is a supplement to an antenna, not a replacement. The ability to pickup local channels (in HD) wherever you are is a real plus.

I want a report on how you like the Jack antenna, Brad.

Richard,

With a satellite dish you have to pay for service, with this antenna it's free! Part of the reason I even bought it is because the original antenna is toast and I needed to plug the hole, might as well plug it with something useful

Besides, as small as the Argosy is having a satellite dish on the roof might get it blown over in strong cross winds

Brad

I laughed at that one Brad!

I am still trying to get my head around how to get free to air HDTV with the two older LCD TV's that are slated for MH duties(no digital tuner)...
I have around 500 DVD's that I intend to decant into a big storage folder for travel use..

I'm pretty sure you can buy external digital tuner boxes for those TVs.

True, weird thing about a tuner box I had just switching the antenna from the box to a new TV, the box got 2 channels the the TV didn't and the TV got 5 channels that the box didn't.

I told you it would take off if you gave it a little time

Unfortunately I'm now watching that thread as well and getting even MORE ideas

Lucky you, if that's all you have to worry about. I have been catching myself looking at Airstream Motorhome ads...now that's scary
After all, I still have a partial interior for a 1979 28' or 24' that I used to furnish my little cabin in the backyard.
Maybe I need to start another thread: What did you get for your Airstream Cabin today ...

I think you need to get a Trailer too Brad...
Nice job on the Post Peter... watch that thread fly higher than this one!

Got this little "Job Lot" today...

Sewer support, and some furnace vent covers... the mesh ones I will use, the others are weird... But $10 for the lot seemed fair!
