$800 seems really steep for a transfer relay, even though the JTB solution is well packaged and comes with all the pieces you would need. But it could be done for a lot less. You add another 20 amp cord to your coach, and to wire your second AC to the common contacts of a DPDT relay. The JTB approach is to sense when 120 volts appears on the 20 amp cord, and after a short delay switch the second AC from its usual feed on the breaker panel (via the NC contacts of the relay), to receive power instead from the new 20 amp cord (via the NO contacts). It's the same sort of transfer relay you already have that switches the breaker panel from the park power 30 amp circuit to the generator.

A simple DPDT toggle switch (Grainger 2TPF8 for instance) mounted in a box with a fuse or circuit breaker would do this if you could put up with switching it manually rather than having it happen automatically when you plugged the second cord into park power.

Went to the AS to get you the phone # for Powersolutions, sorry to say they are out of business. Did get to talk to the owner to confirm if he would not mind if I shared the electric hook up from his instructions with other people. Answer was no problem. There are some parts not produced anymore, I have by passed the parts with a simple solution. I will scan the instructions if you are still interested. Getting really tired of having a crapped out engine battery all the time, and having to disconnect the wiring each and every time I'm not using it. So, found these somewhere on the 'net. Came today, but didn't realize they were at my front door until it was almost dark. Something else for my 'to-do' list while on vacation!

The 360 either came without a coach battery disconnect switch or someone removed it. The PO used to pull the ground connectors when not in use. I started looking for switches but don't like the thought for more bare contacts that could get shorted by stuff in the front storage compartment where the coach batteries are located. I also don't really see a need for the momentary tie between the coach batteries and the engine batteries. I'm going to pull that solenoid and replace it with the latched relay below. Ill use the Aux battery switch on the dash to toggle it on and off. It draws 0 current once it is in either the on or off latched position. I'm also putting the coach batteries in vented plastic boxes so all the wire connections will be covered.

After applying a stainless steel backsplash to the right side of the stovetop I noticed other things that needed fixing / updating.

I know you are all familiar with this because one thing lead to another which highlighted something else which needed fixing!

So I removed the NuTone stuff, removed the cooktop, removed the spice rack, removed the window blinds and edge pieces, removed the kitchen sink, removed the whole counter top. Replaced the wood under the sink as it had been leaked on over the years. Applied new coat of poly on kitchen cabinets and drawers.

Then nothing, until yesterdays arrival. 36" x 36" stainless steel panel ready to cut into five pieces to finish off the rest of the backsplash.

The latched relay showed up yesterday.

Generally flying freight you bulk out the aircraft before you gross it out. Meaning you could carry much more weight than the boxes full of packing allow. I imagine this is true of the delivery trucks also. So why does it cost $10 to ship a $30 relay? $26 it you want it tomorrow. The FedEx and UPS guys love it. The jokers packing these empty boxes just pass the cost on to U&I. The waste disposal guys love it. They just pass the disposal cost on to U&I.
