Went camping in Airstream a couple of weeks ago. Ran hot water heater, and water temp was tepid at best. NEVER got even close to being hot. Decided the best thing to do, before my Christmas weekend camping trip, was to get the water heater tank flushed out. Even with a filter, or even being 'selective' with your potable water, ALL hot water tanks will cause sediment build-up. Go look at your hot water tank at home sometime. Turn off water supply and open drain valve on the bottom. LOTS of gunk will come out.
Guessing that my Atwood water heater must be full of build-up. Pix when tool arrives.
Thanks, Derek

5m(25') 300 Warm white LED Strip...
Paid $11.50 shipped!

You can cut the strip every third LED, so I was thinking to cut it up to whatever length I need..

Without a male thread to male thread bush, that pic of the drain won't work.

Very nice. More info please. Where did you get the strip? What kind of connectors do you need?

Looks like it would be perfect for the indirect lighting above the curtain valances in my Excella's living room. Right now I have nonfunctional single tube ThinLites.

Correction...
5 meters is only 16'!

My strip just has about a 6" Red and Black wire on one end, you can see it in my first pic
It says you can cut every 3rd LED, and you can see where... and I assume you can solder a new wire on to the copper pads... but I have not tried yet!
Maybe someone can tell me how to do it?

Where... Ebay..
Not the same seller, but looks same as what I got...
Buy It Now, $11.87 with free shipping..

Would it be too "Disco Fever" to use this to replace the "night lights" close to the floor...seems like they would look great along the edge of the new floating flooring.

I second the nomination for Steve as "Buyer".

Yes, I guess I am a bit of a shopper, but its driven by a lack of cash!
Pleased to share tho!

Also thought about putting a strip along to illuminate the floor, but thats later.

I am gonna get a bright white strip next, and put a length or two in each compartment. I really like the idea of having a strip or two in the Genset, propane, and the other compartments.
Some of the compartments have a light already, with a tiny T10 bulb, so all I need to do is use the T10 Bulb adaptor I got with the pads, and I can plug it straight in!
