Blue Magic on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/BlueMagic-550-...ecc_rvi_cart_1
For those of us insistent on 'polishing' having a good follow up wax after stripping off the clearcoat is a great idea.
Personally, for the price, I went with the largest size on Amazon. To be honest, with the price, and the free shipping, couldn't pass it up.
Thanks, Derek

From Caswell plating..
2 X 10" Vented Pads
2 X 4" Pads for tight areas
2 X Jumbo Black Coarse Bars
1 X Jumbo White fine Bar
1 X Adapter for using the pads on angle grinders and buffers.

From VTS...
G6 and A Nuvite arrived along with a New Number Plate light and frame... The old one was too far gone rusted!

I know it is a bit of the cart before the horse but it was too good of an ebay deal!!
This will allow me to clear all the codes like no ABS or AirBags etc. and give me an extra boost (150hp and 200foot/ponds) to get up the big hills and the exhaust brake to help me get down with out burning up my brakes:-)
I am almost done with our schooner so come January I should be able to get back to work on the Airstream.

Sorry Dave...
Let me explain/clarify

I did research on bulb types that are fitted to my Airstream, and there are a few threads here on the forums that helped.

1/
The Interior overhead lights mostly are called "1156" or "BA15s". This is the larger bayonette style bulb with a single center contact. In some of my overheads they have 2 different wattages, and the Spot/reading light bulbs are also 1156 style, but a spotlamp/focused bulb.
The 1156/BA15s is also the bulb used in the Reversing lights.

2/
Some fitting have a small bodied "Twist in" style bulb with one center contact.... like the one I talk about above, but smaller... that is called a BA9s. My exterior upper marker lamps have 2 in each fitting.

3/
The floor lights, outside marker, and Compartment lamps have the small push in bulbs, and these they call "Wedge" or T10..

4/
Tail light bulbs are called 1157 or BAY15d..
This is a two contact bulb... Low and High brightness, for tail and brakelight.

This should help you find the right type of fitting, and narrow your searches!

Now, I look for bargains, and when i see them I buy them!
I look at the "Buy it now" only, and sort by lowest price..
This is where the deals are, but not all the time, so be patient!

You can also seach by the number of LED's.. Like 48 or 36 if you want LED panels...

Now, I have made some mistakes...
I got some 1156 bulbs for the interior.. these had 9 LED's mounted on the end...
Like these that were 99c for 2 with free shipping..
2pcs 9 LED 1156 Park Rear Stop Turn bulb light Bright | eBay

They fitted great and are bright, but I found this type of bulb is directional, and also very blue/white...
So were not good in the interior overheads, as the light is "Cold" and also focus the light wrongly.
I ended up putting those in the map reading lights, and they seem to work well.

I plan to try some like these "Warm White" side focus bulbs, but waiting for a better price...
1pcs BA15S 1156 1141 SMD bulb 13-5050 SMD LED,Warm White, DC12V, #13ZWW | eBay

The T10 bulbs I got are like these.. and at 99c for 2 inc shipping.
Not tried them yet, but I think they should work..
Super Bright White Light Bulb 12V T10 W5W 1 LED 1LED x2 | eBay

The Tail lamp bulbs I got are 1157 bulbs, with 102 SMD White LED's.
They are tall... but I measured and I think/hope they will fit!
Like these, but I paid $6.70/pair shipped..
1157 2057 T25 3528 102 SMD LED Car Brake Stop Tail Signal Light Lamp Bulb White | eBay

I will post pics and comment on my main thread when I try them!

Steve, got to shop eBay more often. Bulbs you got for $2.50, are now almost $7. I'll keep shopping. Thanks for the information though. Let us know how the ones you purchased work out for you.
Thanks, Derek

Gas!

It got up to 60 degrees today so I went out to storage to crank up the AS. I try to run it once a month or so to charge the batteries and circulate the fluids. The Cummins doesn't have glow plugs or intake heater. It does have a very good block heater that you plug in for about 30 minutes for cold weather starts. (below freezing)

It cranked right up so after a good warmup me and the Dakota the dog decided to take it for a drive. I hadn't topped it off since the last trip so we took advantage of the fuel discounts from a local Kroger chain. You can get up to $1 a gallon off. Last summer I got a couple of 50 gallon fill ups. They now limit you to 35 gallons they you start earning points again.

Filled her up with winter blend.

Then we drove out to the local airport to see if it would fit in a buddies hangar. Looks like I have a couple months to work in heated comfort.

That number looks like the old days; not the "really good old days", but the better than today "old days". The price at the pump today was $4.09 for diesel here in The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts. Man, how I want out of this state!

Fuel is climbing down here, also above $4.00. Safeway has the cheapest if you use a Safeway card to buy groceries, you'll get a fuel discount.

Stream,

No state income tax in Florida and it's warmer than New Hampshire, but if you stay there you can welcome Barney Frank home next year.
