Masseyfarm is da man!
Very good price I thought!

I gotta say, I am enjoying this new thread!
I saw one running over on another Forum I am a member of, and it was both fun to share!
It also kept this kinda stuff focused here, rather than cluttering up detailed threads!

I just finished using my new A/C tool for the first time....
Did an Evac on my Mercedes 190D, as I need to replace the dryer/receiver that is weeping at the sight glass...
Worked awesome!
That unit was over $3000 new... I paid $300.
Last time I had to have my Suburban Evacuated of R12, they charged me $80..... then charged me $150 to refill it!
When I stopped and thought about it, I got mad...
Let me get this right.... They take MY R12 out of MY Truck... and charge me for doing it... they then keep my R12... then the charge me for R12 to refill it?
What a RIP OFF!

I have 8lb of R12 in the tank I have, and I know that 3 of my vehicles have pure Virgin R12 in them, cos I personally, cleaned and replaced the components, vacuumed the system, then put my own pure new R12(plus oil) back in...
I have just ordered new filters for the unit tho, so that cost me $100, but it still makes sense to me...

New fuel, water seperator filter

A year ago I installed a new fuel Pump, 2 shut off valves and a Perco water, fuel separator system.

today I cleaned the system and replaced the spin on filter.

John,
Are you slipping?
I think you need to pull that Banks Air filter off and color match it to your 345 right away!
Here is how mine looks now...

They do this 15lb one, and a 40lb unit too... This one was like $70 after a 20% off coupon from HotRod mag.
I put it all together yesterday afternoon, and did some "Blasting" on the intake...
Only had time to do a test section, but it seems to work great.... made a big mess in my garage tho!
Good news is its more grainy than dust, looks like sugar all over the place, but I can vac it up easy.

I have a media blasting cabinet too, so I am off to my storage unit to have a tidy up, and while I am there, I will pull it out and bring that home, so I can contain the mess better!
More later!

I installed one Fantastic Vent last weekend after I got home from Springstream. I will try to take pictures of the other install and post them.

It may be a while as I am traveling the next month.

For Christmas I got an air pressure regulator to attach to the end of the hose of the air compressor at my storage garage. That way I can let the air compressor send high pressure to the end of the hose and I can reduce it to a safe level when I blow out the plumbing during winterization. Cheap thrills!

LOL, John... Glad to help!
I sand blasted it, hit it with satin Black Hitemp, then sanded the raised lettering... then went over the whole thing with HiTemp Clear.
I actually need to put another coat of clear on... you can see it got patchy and dry, cos I ran out...

Oh, I need wipers too.... what type did you get?

OK, so it's not for my Airstream motorhome but I did get full power MCD shades for the cockpit and replaced the mini blinds with day/night MCD shades as well.

Windshield/Cockpit American Duo

Makes a huge difference in heat control and sun control, especially when driving west or east towards the sun...
