Yes, It works good, the PO did a Demo for me.
It's older, but in great shape.
It recovers and stores the refrigerant, cleansing it of oil/debris/impurities, as it does that.
It can pull a vacuum, and hold it, checking the pressures and warn you if you have a leak.
Then recharge the exact amount back in by weight!
Since I have 6 vehicles that had or have R12 in them, it made sense to get my Licence and have my own system.

I got 2 tanks with it.
One has maybe 8lb of recovered R12 in it, so I can evac some of my systems that i am not sure of the purity into that.
The other is completely empty, so I can use that on the cars that I know I Vac'd clean, and refilled with Virgin R12.

I recently installed a transmission oil cooler and would post a picture, but it's been so long I don't remember how to do it. The "manage attachments" that is suppose to be below the text box isn't there so just don't know how to post it!!!

LED third tail light

From Super Bright LED's a nice LED light fixture and I have a pulse module that flashes for about 4 seconds then goes solid.

I had the back apart to find a leak and for remodeling, so wiring it in was not to bad. All ready had a brake only circuit run to the back for the toad.

Spotted this 18,000LB Trans cooler, that would really get the job done!

Agreed!
Didn't spot that one!
That 30,000 rated unit is big enough to strap a small fan to!
Then just have a switch on the dash to kick it in when needed.
When I get that far, I will put in the deep pan, temperature sender and gauge, and a dedicated cooler.
I like the idea of having the cooler mounted somewhere other than in front of the radiator... that has enough to do already, and only adds to the thermal load.

What I did for my Airstream today:...I left it alone, as my mechanical skills are listed as hammer, BIG screwdriver, crowbar, dangerous power tools, and plenty of duct tape...m

Read about and ordered a Cobb Cooker. We have been looking for something small that we could pack along and not have to use bushels of charcoal or propane. This thing seem to work quite well.

Masseyfarm is da man!
Very good price I thought!

I gotta say, I am enjoying this new thread!
I saw one running over on another Forum I am a member of, and it was both fun to share!
It also kept this kinda stuff focused here, rather than cluttering up detailed threads!

I just finished using my new A/C tool for the first time....
Did an Evac on my Mercedes 190D, as I need to replace the dryer/receiver that is weeping at the sight glass...
Worked awesome!
That unit was over $3000 new... I paid $300.
Last time I had to have my Suburban Evacuated of R12, they charged me $80..... then charged me $150 to refill it!
When I stopped and thought about it, I got mad...
Let me get this right.... They take MY R12 out of MY Truck... and charge me for doing it... they then keep my R12... then the charge me for R12 to refill it?
What a RIP OFF!

I have 8lb of R12 in the tank I have, and I know that 3 of my vehicles have pure Virgin R12 in them, cos I personally, cleaned and replaced the components, vacuumed the system, then put my own pure new R12(plus oil) back in...
I have just ordered new filters for the unit tho, so that cost me $100, but it still makes sense to me...
