A. Lucas refrigeration.

Can you tell that I once owned an old E-Type?
I had an MG TF and a bumper sticker reading "The parts that fall off this car were made in the UK". It didn't specify Lucas, though.

This is a fun thread.

Finally, I can plug in without an extension cord, can even run the a/c now that I installed the 30 amp outlet at it's parking spot.

I am installing LED clearance lights from superbrightleds.com.

Just waiting for the afternoon storm to pass and finish sealing them.

Easy to understand with almost all household outlets rated at 15 amps and an a/c that draws about 20 at startup and 17 amps normal operation, all you have to do is feel the plug at the adapter and look at the a/c meter pointing at the red zone.( I keep one plugged in by the stove top.

Finally I'm over here in the home of the brave, land of the free.
Probably pick up my ARGOSY MH
tomorrow, here in Santa Fe NM.
I was at the garage today. Good people. They certainly knew what they were doing
and the mechanic was a pleasant and smart fella'.
Everything looks fine...MH is in good shape...and in good hands,
but there was a slight delay as they had to modify
and replace some engine oil-cooler tubing and some other stuff
because of the HEDMAN headers.

After listening to all your good advise I drove down to Albuquerque
today to get me some stuff for da' MH

..an eight-pack of heat insulating spark-plug/leads "boots"
..a heat insulating starter-"wrap" / "bag"
..a thermal shield for anything else close to the new headers
(besides the above) that needs heat protection
..a length of 3/4" 'fire armour sleeve' for some tubing
( forgot what it is ) that runs close to / above
the headers on the left side of the engine

Well, just got back from Arkansas. Wow what a nice trip. The Moho was just amazing. 1750 miles round trip. It was so enjoyable to drive. It tracked so well down the road. I really had to watch my speed. 77 is way to fast. It didn't leak a drop of oil till I got back home and was unpacking it. There was a puddle, Then I started it up to take back to work where I store it and made all kinds of racket sounds like power steering belt then a bunch of smoke. Made it back to my work and parked it. I will deal with it tomorrow. Back to the shop!! Haha.

Yeah i think she likes being on the road Not a drop under her today. I topped off oil. Can't duplicate the belt noise. No smoking from belt either. I will look at her closer later today. Made it home that's the best part!!
