Hey Mike...
When we get too old to drive, anymore, will we know it? I propose to you that we both reach this milestone, together, and do dueling Airstreams as the way out!!! They did a movie, once, where they ran two narrow gauge locomotives together...

There were actually quite a few orphans produced. For instance the 37 footers that I heard were originally made for Saudi Arabia and then never delivered there. Also NASA has some for transporting Astronauts around the pads. There were the Funeral Coaches, Blood Mobile coaches, ect.

Our Isuzu is just nicely broke in now. We changed the rear end last year and geared it so that it cruises nicely at 65 to 70 now.

Do I get to be Thelma...? Healing is ongoing, but her therapy will probably extend into the summer...I see you have relocated from Cactus Hug...we, or I, will have to return to pick up the moho...

We heard a lot of stories about a 345 parked on the outskirts of Cactus Hug, I assume that's your baby. All the best, M

Awesome!
Not sure what part you are talking about but do a search on Supersteer joints as I think that is what you need.

Not sure of the part either, but here is a link to a Supersteer bell crank: Bell Crank for Workhorse and Chevy P30, P32 and P37 Chassis

The 3 page factory sticker on my 92 300E was $127K, before they leaned into the steering and solar upgrades.

FYI, we just did an 1100 mile roundtrip L.A.-Tucson with 7 aboard at 108* for most of the trip, ran the generator and both roof airs, and got 10.1 mpg at 55-60 leaving L.A. and 8.1 at 75-80 in the desert. I love this motor! 454 on regular by EB Racing in Lancaster, CA. He's got a chassis dyno for RVs.

It's been so long since I drove it anywhere without towing something, I had no idea what to expect for mpg.

Get a Gear Vendors overdrive, gives you more gear selection and a comfortable cruising rpm at 60 to 65 mph. You can get 70 mph out of it but remember you are hurling 16000 pounds down the highway on 30 year old truck suspension technology.

Cheers, Dan

Just wondering, has anyone tried CarDax.com with their serial numbers to see if they can find the history of their Classic. I'm going to go try now to see if anything is revealed. Will post results, if there are any
Thanks, Derek
