Mike,
OOPS!!!I thought the brown trout meant ME when they were shouting "Mike...Mike"...not to worry, tho', I'm a catch/release guy...the calls may be a little hoarse, next time...
Would love to get $0.05/hr for what I've been through, but would honestly have PAID more than that for what we've gotten out of it...hmm...I guess we ARE paying more than that...ah, well, worth it...
We're headed for Austin the first week of April(gulp)...the worst hailstorm I ever went thru was just east of Lubbock in May of '95...no Airstream, then, thankfully(for the Airstream)...
Hey, if yer ever thru Silverton in the summer...

Smile What constitutes a 'Classic'

A Classic is more of a state of your bank account, it seems. Since I last posted here the classic numbers have gone over 6 K in repairs on the Silver Hornet. That's with me doing most of the coach repairs myself. Good thing I started cheap on the purchase price(entry fee) or I would be in deep water on this thing. I did'nt buy it to sell, so to me it makes no difference. Since the test run, things are looking up, and now we are working on getting the outside looking better. To read more on the Silver Hornet go to [url=http://www.starnewspub.com] click on Motorhoming with Mike. Kind of a thumbnail sketch on the ordeal thus far.

Diesel Pusher

I'm at Panama City Beach and there is an AS motorhome that says "Airstream Classic" with Turbo Diesel also written on it. It looks like a pusher. No tag axle. Did AS make a diesel pusher? If so, tell me more.
