Welcome to Italy!

Finally, the airstream is at home…..at my home !
After much month the motorhome is here, in Italy.
From Daytona beach -Florida- to Forlì Adriatic cost .
It’s an motorhome Airstream Excella 245, 1979. The first for me and my family and for Italy. All drivers stop for congratulation .
Now I’d like to entry in ASI: Italian Historical Vheicle, so I need to restore it.
I’d like to find the original upholstery.
Can you help me?
Thanks
Cesare

There may have been several different options in 1979. You can find a lot of information as to specifications on the Airstream.com website. If you can post pictures here of the current fabric, or what you think may be original, there is most likely someone here who can help.

Gocart,
Yes, please post some photos of your rig. Meanwhile, I'll see what I can find on the internet. Amazing all of the websites concerning Airstreams that are out there. Enjoy your new 'toy'.
Thanks, Derek

Thanks for reply.
I ‘d start to restore.
I remove the floor in the living area and driver area and the walls because there is a big problem: water’s infiltration from windows . Just I painted the chassis and I make the new floor. Now I’ll replace the windows gasket.
And than it don’t have the original upholstery . It’s only original in the side interior decoration. 8I attached the pic) I’d like to restore it all the dinette and seat The cocktail chair is absent.

But, do It’s possible in America to find that original upholstery???
It’s very important for me.
I’ll attend all winter to hard restore.

Bye bye ,I wait your suggestion
