The screen/aerator on the end of the faucet must have plugged with some loose lime or sand in the lines.

Yes the screen is clogged.
Depending on how fast you fill the hot water heater tank you will kick up the silt on the bottom and that silt will move through out the system landing on the faucet screens

not the case, removed it ,there was some sediment, not much, did not put it back on just to test it....so if there is a blockage its somewhere in the line leading to it....what is the trick to get it out, unclog it ????air pressure???let the water run????

Is there a valve under the faucet that was partially turned off? Is it cold only, perhaps a drinking water filter? Could the sink faucet valve be plugged?
I suppose reverse pressure may work but you need to take a line loose somewhere within the system to release it. The external water hookup and the pump have anti-reverse valves. And I wouldn't use much pressure, check to see max pressure for the system (65 psi comes to mind).

thanks....i ran a thin wire down the faucet ,then i unscrewed the connection under the sink, ran the wire down there too...then put the water back on....the cold water pressure is o.k,the hot a little weaker, but gets better as i let the water run for a long while...so you are right about the sediment...once more thank you all for creative solutions...M
