value of '84 345

Hi,
I will be selling my 1984 345 coach. I need to get some feedback on the value, say starting at the everything working level, then I can peel back the price based on what it needs. Basically it's good to go, I would get in and drive cross country in it tomorrow, but I made some changes that worked for me and may be a detriment, e.g. I took out the huge fresh water tank to increase my storage. I also made some good changes, like adding the powepack system, but like all 20 year old vehicles it's got some drawbacks, dash air doesn't work, cruise control doesn't work, odometer stopped working, seats are starting to shred. Any feedback very appreciated.

Hi Herb,
I planned to start around $25k. It's a gas 454 with the Banks Power Pack system and drives really easy. I towed a saturn wagon behind it and never noticed any strain. I am in Sebastian, FL, which is located between Palm Beach and Orlando on the coast. I work as an RV tech so it has been well maintained.

25,000 seems to be at the high end without a fresh water tank. You may want to fix some of the problems like the cruise and AC if you want top dollar.

Values?

An almost pristine 1992 350 just went off auction on Ebay. No bids, starting bid was only 28k without reserve being met. Having been a shopper for a couple months... I must agree with Chaplain Kent. With odometer out there is no way to prove the maintenance schedule. There are several out on the web in that price range(25k-29k).... and later models....

Man, I feel like a bubble buster.

I was able to get around 15k for this 345 just last year.

Best of luck.
