Using wireless led lights on '88 345 tow car? Anyone have experience?

I just purchased a set of wireless lights for my toad. They work great on my '06 F150 but nothing on my Moho. My old set of wired magnetic lights work on the Moho plug but nothing when I plug in the sending unit for the wireless. Pilot the maker of my wireless set advised me to put in a heavy duty flasher relay, but still no luck. The sending unit has a four point plug on the end and it lights up my test light, so I know the sending unit is getting juice through it. Anyone have experience they could share with me? Mr. D.
