TV Antenna is MIA

Hi All,

Our TV antenna is missing. There are wires poking out of the shell up top. Should we look to replace it with an original? If so, what am I looking for? If not, what are the other options for TV besides Satellite? Thanks!

KJ

Suggest you look for a powered TV antenna that can stay fixed and does not go up or down. Many people on here do not like the new AS power Antennas. We have one and so far it's done great by us.

I recently read somewhere that a new antenna called Razar (sp) is excellent. It's a disc type & supposed to really bring in every signal out there. I believe the same article claimed they were available at camping world.

I see you have an '82 model.
First question you have to ask yourself.....are you aiming to restore to the ORIGINAL birdroost?....or to a modern functional one?

We like our birdroost....not functional, but nostalgic....

2x on the Jack! Easy install, great performance, signal finder, and you don't have to worry about forget lowering it.

With new digital TV it's hard to point the antenna as you have to do a channel scan before you can get a signal strength. The signal finder helps you point it to do a scan.

The correct spelling is Rayzar, by Winegard. It looks like a mini satellite dish & its retro fitted where the bat wing was. It was a feature article in the May Issue of Motor Home magazine & supposed to be state of the art bringing in every possible signal out there.
