The one I bought was a mere $13.- . Even the sales person was surprised, haha. I almost bought the Gates 26612 that Brad used. Its flexible, rubber steel. I just didn't like that both sides are 1 3/4", versus the 1 3/4 on the pump side and 1 1/2 on the rad side. I also was concerned that I would mess up the curves when bending, since both the alt belt and fan blades are very close

That's an older hose. Carquest has been out of business for a while.

Peter, the only hoses I have purchased are for the vertical radiators. I believe the one's you're talking about are for the horizontal radiators and they are definitely different than what I've purchased.

Yes, true, they changed to horizontal radiators in 1981, I believe. The gates 26612 you used on your Argosy would have worked as well. I was ready to pick it up, but after I pulled the old one and found the original part number (EBJ80RK50), I was able to cross reference to this Dayco hose.

It would be so nice if someone still made the original style of hoses for the vertical radiators.
Oh well......

Hummmmm......?
It is interesting that the 300s (30’) are past over as though they don’t exist. I guess that if the company that made them won’t acknowledge its existence then they don’t exist! Too bad. Some of the places I go will not allow over 30’ RVs in. There is no mention of 30s in any manual I have seen including the original I have from 1983. However, I think I will be fine with that as long as I can get parts. It seems like it’s hard to find some things even for the acknowledged models. So as I embark on a refirb/Resto I hope I will come across some other 30 owners. So far I have replaced the brakes, carb and tires. There are a few more details to take care of before it makes the 100 mile trip home for the real work. To all those 300 owners out there salutations! And of course to all those larger and smaller too. First question: anyone put the HWH air ride suspension on one of the classics? I got to replace the bags anyway and I want to increase the ride height. Suggestions?

Front wheels 94 classic
Hi everyone, I bought my motorhome at auction and I am utterly clueless. The front wheels are 16.5“ aluminum Alcoa wheels. They look great but I can’t find good tires for them. I want to buy some 16” Or 17” wheels that look the same so I won’t have as much trouble finding tires. Any ideas?

Hissing air line
Totally inexperienced never had a motorhome. Right behind my tag axle there is a tiny air line that seems to go nowhere. It hisses after starting up. Should I be concerned?

It most likely comes from the leveling valve and releases access pressure. If it doesn't stop after a short while, your leveling valve port is not sealing properly and needs be serviced or replaced.

New Airstream Owner
Hello Everyone,
As a newbie, and recently minted owner of a classic airstream, I just wanted to introduce myself.
My wife, daughter and I live in Napa, CA and recently received Tony and Gabrielle's 310TD, which we had driven to us due to not being able to enter Canada (COVID restrictions). We hope to hit the road this weekend for our first outing. I have already learned so much from these forums and hope to be more active. Here are some photos:

There are resettable fuses located on the generator itself, try those

I believe these are for the horizontal radiator, NOT the vertical radiator.
