I believe only the 1974-1976 Argosy had different bumpers, but as we have found with Peanut things like the banana wraps which should also be the same between later Argosy and the Classics....aren't.

Dear All,
thank you for your thougts, yes, the attack in Berlin is a Nightmare, these murders will burn in hell! Only the lord can judge them, hopefully our courts will put him in a -dirty- jail for the rest of his life!!!
Hamburg is "safe" so far, we will see, how the markets will go further.
The ministry of defense is thinking now about a closing of ALL markets in Germany....
Let us pray for the families in Berlin...!
I will continue my / our thread later, i am in a deep depression today.

Glad to hear you and your family are safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all Deutschlanders. Nothing in this life is certain and terrorism doesn't help.

Hey Guys!
I just want to say hello and show, how we work now...!
Many heavy concrete bricks in front of every market (where did the police find these in this Quantity "over nicht"???), heavy armed gun-Men and the City if Hamburg is FULL of Police!
(We just had this "OSZE" Meeting here, every foreign minister fom the world was here, the Town was safe as "Fort Knox"!)
We still do our job, but it is sicnificant less than before. The combination of fear and the lousy weather is not good....!
Anyhow, we carry on, those terrorists may not win our minds!
One of them died in the attack. Hopefully he died in paine, may he burn in hell!
So, enough "bad mood" for today!!!
Here in Hamburg, we are in our last day, i am only "hours" away from home, family and the kids.
Frido allready has "setted up" the tree, he did "small mistake" by measuring the tree.... He cutted down a 4,50m tree, but our ceiling is just 3,60 !
This tree fitted no roofrack...! Needed to take the trailer.
The "beast" uses 1/4 of the living room, Frido decided to remove the "sensless" furniture for Christmas....! (Who need's a couch???)
But it's an imressive Tree, very impressive....
We had to ask the black-smith, to make "asap" a new Tree support, the size was far to big for ANY standard foot!
Furtunately, we collect Glasir aments since many years, and have plenty in stock! This year we will first time be able to use them ALL!!!!
(and i bought 3 x 40' lights, 150 bulbs each at "Walmart" )
I will post a picture, once ready!
Bangles is "travel-ready", cleaned and filled up. She will remain here till December 28th, then we're back to tear down and pull out the both.
Best regards from Hamburg! Hohohohooooo!

Ha! wanted to share some pictures from the last Marketday in Goslar:
Bangles in Front of the "Kaiserringhaus"
The "chimney boys", a symbol if luck in Germany, came to wish a happy new year and asked for a drink! 😜🍷
An impressive "rig"! Bangles towed the Market booth from Anja on a flatbed dolly trailer with no issues!
all you see here, is loaded on the flatbed trailer! A 19.70 Meters rig!

Marcus,
did you pull that trailer all the home from Goslar?
How much does it weigh?
Did you reinforce your hitch on the 345?

Yes, and I had thought driving the 345 alone was an adventure in the narrow roads of older towns, but now add the BIG TRAILER. Wow brave folks.
Marcus, I'm so glad to see your positive chipperness returning!
Cheers Richard

Ha, thank you all for the audience!
Yes, i towed the trailer out of town, but only to reach the Freeway, where we met our driver with the Sprinter-Van (Freightliner in the US i guess?)
It was not an issue at all, the 454 is a "torque-monster", but i was unsure, if the hitch was strong enough for this 4 tons trailer (8500 lbs?).
I will see the truckshop soon, there we will buy a strong hitch!!!

The same van is sold in the US both as a Sprinter by Mercedes and as Freightliner by that company which is now owned by Mercedes. I guess they sell them any way they can. It's a good vehicle.
