Ha! A sheetmetal joke! Very good!

No worries, I'll be glad to give back in whatever way I can. This community has always been a source of motivation and know how.

If I can only figure out how to mount a radial engine on my rig....! I spent years up north in Alaska, fixing and flying Beavers and Otters. Love the sound or found!

Mark is still alive and kicking, on FB. I guess the 'wounds' inflicted by his MH may still be taking some time to heel!

Do not adjust your eyes, you're not seeing things, Tap is actually in the house!!!!

I'm back baby!!!

I had to step away for awhile and clear my head after getting very frustrated with my mechanical issues, but I'm back and excited to deal with them and finally get to use my rig!

I've missed every one of you guys!

Aloha Tap

Ah the recuperative power of time.
Glad you are refreshed and ready to get back to it.

A fresh perspective often brings clearer answers to challenges for me,
Hope so for you too.

Cheers Richard

Mark, glad you decide to take a break....but don't feel bad as you're not the only one that has had first trip problems. A newcomer with a diesel powered 280 out of Alberta supposedly had $10,000 in repairs during his first trip out.

It happens.....

Soooo, you've had a chance to think about your rig over the winter....What's the plan of attack for this spring? What are you going to work on first? What's after that? How can we help?

Cheers
Tony

Tap's 1981 280 Motorhome (Purchased January 2016)

Hi Tony!
Thanks for your kind words as always.
$10,000 ouch!!!

Here's my order of attack:

1) Get radiator/overheating issue diagnosed and fixed.

2) Replace carburetor

3) Remove driver's side window frame and install my new one. **I want to hire someone in Minnesota to do it, who has done it before. Anybody know someone?

4) Replace suspension airbags

5) Replace cracked water tanks

6) eVeRYThInG eLsE
