This question is for anyone with a 345, and the Kelsey-Hayes tag brake control. This set-up has the "Selective Resistor" mounted on the front driver side of the fire wall near the Isolator. What I need to know is if yours has the little bridge over the coils. This unit is what decides the maximum voltage that can go to the tag brakes.
Thanks, Rob
Up-date,
I used two aircraft Adel clamps with the rubber removed, and bolted together. These fit perfectly. I adjusted the clamps to give me about 9.5 volts to the brakes at max. The test drive was great! I have never had the tag brakes working, so the braking is MUCH better.
If anyone wants, I can post a picture or two of the installation.

Please do.
It took a while adjusting the tag brake controller until we got it right where the tag wheel wouldn't lock up. About 20 minutes in all driving back and forth which got us lots of bemused onlookers!
Sorry it took so long but here are some pictures. The first shot is of the resistor in our MH. The second is of the drawing in the owners manual. The third is of the type of clamp I used. I just removed the clamp's rubber cushion.
