to be honest, I will be picking my 89 345 LE two weeks from today. Have enough room in my back yard to park it there, so I think even if I DON'T go camping (work most Saturdays) I'll still spend my weekends in it, lol

I spent some time working in mine, but it was 108 degrees so my time was limited.

Does washing, Walbernizing, cleaning, removing some of the clutter, getting ready for next weekend, and putzing count? If it does, yes, I spent the weekend in my AS and loved it.... and it sure beat being in the office all weekend.

I spent about 3 hours on Saturday pulling out the kitchen counter top, sink, cabinets and overhead cabinets. Fortunately, I had the AC on and it was nice and cool in the trailer. Oh yeah, there had to be 700+ rivets in the upper cabinet. Geez! (Still, it was fun)

Been in it everyday since July 7 I think. I'm not too good with calenders these days. It has been all good with many more days to come.

Cheers, Dan

we did, it was just for one night out at a friends 40th b-day party but it sure was nice this morning when one of the other party guests was unable to give up the only bathroom in the house due to a bad case of jagermiester flu!

Saturday I worked on making drawers for the new cabinets. Today I mowed our back lot (a three hour job).

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

Got back this afternoon from a weather-shortened trip to the western shore of the Chesapeake in Maryland. Saw Ronnie Dunn (of Brooks and Dunn fame) in concert Saturday night in St. Leonard. Rain held off and it was a great show. Fought heavy rains all the way home up thru Maryland and Delaware to the Jersey shore today. Heading out again Friday morning for a 4-day weekend to New York State for a WBCCI unit rally.

Spent a good part of the week in my silver palace with my daughters & grandson. We went to the Shipshewanna, Indiana area. Went to the RV/MH hall of fame while we were out there. Really interesting! Came out & an AS was parked next to mine (they were from Texas & had a Classic--not sure what year). A beautiful weather week & lots of $ spent at the auction--good fishing at Twin Mills CG too!

We left Monday and camped at Sherando Lake Campground just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a great US Forest Service Campground. Weather was great, almost no rain and we never did need the AC. This camping trip was suppose to be relaxing, but we ended up taking our 20 month old grand daughter with us so there was very little relaxing done. We came home yesterday and I spent the day installing 10 new LED lights in the Tradewind. I will provide more details later, but the conversion was very successful- Cost only $40, same or more light, same quality light and only 1/10 the current usage and heat output.
