We hitched up to camp an hour away from home (Portland) and then just kept going...spent a wonderful Sunday exploring the John Day National Monument and Fossil Beds. We're planning to do this every weekend until the weather turns. You don't have to travel very far in Oregon to see something pretty spectacular

Just returning from our Ocracoke OBX beach camping trip (in tents). With the fizzle of would be hurricane Emily, the weather in the OBX was great and the bugs were mild. The Argosy is still in JC and hope to pick it up in a few weeks.

OK, so I didn't travel, but I did go out to the moho for a couple of paperback chapters and a nap...I seem to sleep better in it, tho' the temps in the high 70's and an occasional low 80 have driven me inside...m

Not me unfortunately! Put my back badly out of whack 8 weeks ago trying to lift a 950 pound motorcycle that had fallen when parked in a field - probably shoulda known better at my age!

Haven't been doing much of anything strenuous for the last while.

Slowly improving though, hope to get out with the Airstream in September - I think I could lift the hitch now! Maybe a week in the Finger Lakes - and a few extra glasses of wine if the back is still playing me up!

Brian.

I did.

Just 2 days on the top of the Chesapeake Bay at a little campground called Bar Harbor. Fun place.
