new covers

The pix I have show the one on the left as the last plastic one I have. The right is copper and painted grey as window frames on my coach. Will install one today and try to get you a better pix.

Weep Hole covers

Richard,
Seems to me, that since these copper weep hole covers are being painted, maybe no corrosion???
Already PM'd you.

Copper sounds awesome and durable. I suppose a good clear coat would be helpful and could be touched up after a few years as with the clear coat on coaches. I'm glad to see these!

I am retired and do not intend to start a business trying to sell weep hole covers. I am going to have a set made for mine(30). If any one wants some and I can add to my order, I'm hoping maybe to get a little better price for a larger order. I do understand the price for a set looks pricey at $17. each, but it should be the last ones we will need to put on. I will try to contact Andy at Inland RV to see if he is interested in buying some for stock and reselling. If you definetly want some PM me with a phone contact so that we can make some arrangements.
Richard

I am going to have a full set of covers (30) made in the next week or two. If any others of you want some the price drops $2.50 if we can get the order to 100 pieces. Interested?, pm me with a contact phone #.

So, just to be clear, the price would drop to $14.50/piece? And then there's shipping and handling? By weight and distance? Sounds like around $500 for a full set for a 345?

Correct, the price per each would be $14.50. Shipping I would think by USPS one box ships all (smallest box) I think is in the area of $15.00, but not sure. As I said in previous replys to this thread, I'm not in business to sell and make money on this endeavor, trying to help the classic MH owner. If I'm not mistaken these covers are not available anywhere, that is why I have gone to this trouble.

I am really tempted because I would love to have the copper contrast color on the coach but I have so many other fundamental questions to answer that I guess I should pass for the time being. Maybe you could post some contact info later, once you've gotten in whatever order you've put together so we could pursue it farther down the road for a second order?

At the rate I'm going, this could be years. We were told the rust wasn't bad, but I don't really trust the guy who told us because he finally confessed that he hates working on Airstreams and doesn't want us to tell him to do any more on it! Gee whiz.

I'm picking up an alluminum cover today to see if it will work as well as copper. Price I think would be the same. We are up to 50 for the order and will report back on the alluminum possibility.

alluminum covers

The alluminum covers are the answer. If any one is interested, I'm placing my order for a full set (30). Andy wants 5 more and I might add 10 more to mine so as to have a few for spot orders. Would like to get to the 100 threshold to reduce the price, so if anyone is interested now is the time!

Raveson,

If it's not to late put me down for 4 total. Let me know when and how you want payment.

Thanks!

Brad
