Shakedown trip Harrison Lake BC

We've been out on one three day trip so far but just did our first real shake down trip of 12 days off grid - all systems worked great and the weather was spectacular. We had an entire site to ourselves until the May Long Weekend, then it was jam packed with 100+ people on 18 sites though many more were tenting in the woods or on the beach.

FSR road is 15km's of slow going to Bear Creek.

We had the beach and site to ourselves for more than a week but then the long weekend crowd moved in - no real rowdy's but a few interesting creatures, like Seth the friendly dinosaur

Bear Creek Falls



Emptying into Harrison Lake from the second site we had to relocate to - still a beautiful spot and plenty of fresh glacial run off for the tanks







Ride to picnic spot further up the Lake - we were warned by passing vehicles that a family of Black Bears was traveling the roads as well

Awesome shots 240. BC is on our list of places to visit and Bear Creek just added to our de.li.cious road trip.

My parents stayed an extra couple of days and did see the Bear with her cubs along the road.
