Selling Our 1986 345 (Priced to Sell)

After a lot of careful thought and consideration we've decided to sell our 1986 345 Motorhome. We've had it for sale before here at a higher price, but today re-listed it priced to sell ($6,900).

It needs some love, but has been loved for the year's we've owned and enjoyed it. I've enjoyed fixing her up, making her reliable for the family and updating the coach. But the reality of two careers, kids who are older and don't want to camp as much and a long list of home improvements we're in the middle of has set in and we're being realistic about letting it go.

Not to sound snobby, but we'd so like to see it go to someone who "gets" Airstreams (rather than the usual craigslist tire kickers who are just looking for a cheap RV - any cheap RV)

Just need someone who knows their way around these old birds to finish her off. It's time to let the next owner/family enjoy it.

Anyway - you can see it posted in the classified here:
1986 Airstream 345 For Sale $6900 - Airstream Trailer Classifieds - Airstreams Trailers For Sale

PM me if you're interested and need more details. Hoping someone from the community is interested and capable of finishing what we've started.

Our Airstream sold today. Feel really good about the new owners. They are motivated, "get it" and have the resources, talent and motivation to own one of the beauties. On the other hand, it was hard watching that thing drive away today without me.

Big thanks to airforums over the years for the help, support and advice. We truly could not have done it without this site and the people here who love their Airstreams.

hoping one day we'll be back. Maybe with a trailer instead....well see.

That is great news, but tainted with a little sadness!
I would like to say thanks for all you have done here, as you have contributed a lot to the forum and other Classic owners!

Don't be a stranger, please!
