Roof mounted spot light

Does anyone know where we can get a replacement bulb for our roof mounted spot/flood light? One part of our bulb burned out.
Thanks, Rob

It should be a standard PAR sealed beam. You can go with a hundred watt aircraft type, too.

The problem is that the bulb has two elements in the sealed beam unit. One is the spot element, and the other is the flood element.

I have not taken it apart yet. On the front of the bulb it has GE 237 molded into the glass.

Try going to McMaster-Carr. Search "Light Bulbs". Although I couldn't find your specific model number on Mcmaster or Google I'm sure you can find a suitable replacement. They have one of the best selection of bulbs I've ever seen with a really user friendly internet user face.

Debbie,

Can you post some pictures of your hitch upgrade?

Thanks!

Thanks Srt8strm. K&H must be the ones that took over Sparton Mfg. They have the same unit we have only it is now black.
I have found a bulb at Camper Repair 205-665-2531. Sonny is the owner.
I will also be contacting K&H to keep a spare in stock.

Will send a pic when we see the moho again, they welded a 2"x6" plate right at the rear of the coach............after seeing Rob's upgrade we expected to see a long tube running forward on the coach but the owner said they have been doing the heavy duty plate for quite a while. Cost was $650, I think the same as Robs.

Interesting. There are so many different ways to strengthen the hitch. I'm sure you'll be happy you did!

I really wanted to strengthen ours the way Rob's was but couldn't find the tube at the time I was doing the work. So I substituted by using a heavy piece of channel and some angle. I got by cheaper because I did all the fabrication myself and then paid a friend who is a certified welder to weld the areas that I was not comfortable doing.

Streamers,
I replaced my spot/flood bulb. The actual part number of the bulb is
"GE 4700". I don't use it much, but I like having everything working as it should.
