Replacing lavatory faucet

I removed and painted the sink ( 3 coats with a brush), and I decided the original brite bronze (?) Delta faucet in this '79 Airstream MH is too offensive to live with.
So I would like to replace with a color to match the nice trim on the tambour door of the vanity.
Anyone know how to would describe the color of the trim. I am thinking antique bronze.
Also, should I update to a modern fixture, or try to come close to the original single handle Delta fixture?
Thanks!
Chris

P.S. - So far I have made some progess on this project. New Propane/110V Atwood electric water heater, new PEX plumbing all the way to the lavatory sink, new Suburban furnace, and new DC converter/charger.
On a humorous note, I had a guy hook up the pex to the bathroom, and now I have hot water to the toilet! That's what happens when a pro in in a hurry to get home.

FYI, the original tambour door color was not that old banana yellowed look you have now but a slightly off white. Over the years the plastic yellows and in my opinion, looks quite ugly. I have found you can repaint even the tambour material with white Krylon Fusion paint for plastics. I like the satin finish rather than the glossy. You need to completely remove the tambour material and paint it carefully with several light spray coats, but the results will be just like it was when new. Any of the yellowed plastic in the Airstreams can be done the same way. Headliner end caps, refrigerator vents, Airconditioner interior shrouds. The brittle plastic insert trim will best be replaced with new, rather than trying to paint it.

It does not really matter what we think. Get the faucet that you like! It is your baby.

Personally, I like the patina.
Anyway, my fixtures are all chrome, and it looks like it belongs. If you can't find a match to the trim, I think chrome would look nice.

I do like that color. Since my Argosy headliners are extremely yellowed I may just have to paint them.

Thanks or sharing the picture!

I also used the Krylon Fusion paint on my interior plastic trims, it worked GREAT!
