Rear Window Screen in MH?

That big Emergency Exit window certainly does let much needed air in. Has anyone rigged a "temporary screen" to cover the window when open?

Thanks

I haven't, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea. I think I'll look at that option the next time I'm in the moho (July4th weekend). Ron

If you do, be sure to get nylon screen, in case you have to use the window for its intended purpose. Steel screen would hurt if you went out it.

I made one to be affixed to the outside of the frame with velcro (after propping the window open, or removing it) for our first trip to Mexico. It never got hot enough to need it but we still carry it when we are planning a long stay where we might need it.

Your coach should have come with a screen in place on the inside of the frame. Our '86 345 has the screen. I have redone it once, and according to the manual, you leave a couple of "loops" in the welting so you can pull them and remove the screen in an emergency.
Hope this helps, Rob

our 85 did not come with it

We will check and see if we can retrofit it. Still looking for ideas on screens for the cockpit windows.
