Pilot Light for stove

How do I light the stove in my 1987 345?

With a match. Most RV stoves do not have a standing pilot light. Ovens do, but not the stove burners. Some stoves have a separate knob that will create a spark when you turn it, like lighting a gas BBQ by pushing the clicker.

I've got a pilot light on my 1978 magic chef. I rarely use it...I usually use a lighter that is designed for lighting pilots.

I thought that might be the case, but someone said something about an electronic starter. Matches are good.
