P30 chassis electrical

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this and what the solution of choice is. The truck fuse box is deteriorating due to age, heat, etc. and causing the wiring to fail. So far I've been able to jump to other connections, but fear a new fuse box is in order. Has anyone used a solenoid of some sort to move power supply for things like compressor, fuel pump, etc. and if so what type? Thanks!

I just recently installed a new compressor and used a ViAir relay/pressure sw combo. Ran #8 stranded copper direct to battery with 30 amp auto reset breaker in line. The original #12 lead that powered the compressor now just activates the relay. Ive got the exact same problem going on with my fuse block, heat deterioration however nothings failed YET. Its on my list to replace though. I think the compressor and the lighting circuits are the worst culprits for amp draw and heat build up. Ive switched over 10 of the running lights yo LEDs to at least start on reducing draw on that circuit. I think the more things on relays the better.
