overhead bin support 1985 345

The bins above the dinette are sagging and have a few cracks. Any ideas on how to support them? We thought about a turnbuckle but did not see anywhere to anchor it.

Its the cracking that has been a problem for some of us, mine have some cracks near the lights, and in the middle of where the cabinets are joined. I have stopped the cracking ( I believe it was from the first owner who had it in a very cold environment), but never come up with a suitable repair method, short of fiberglassing and repainting all the cabinets to match.

There was a thread started during the winter by someone who was replacing his over head cabinets. I wonder how they turned out. I have been covering my plastic with oak and have been staring at the overheads dreaming of a way to accomplish that chore. Soon I will publish pictures of what I have done so far.
