I wondered where to post this for a bit. I finally figured that the real area of the forum that I'm spending time in is here in the Classic Motorhome area. But I've learned so much in the last year and a half in all the other areas of the forum that I had to pause.
I could have put this post on the "SpringStream07" ralley thread as this will be my very first ralley!
I could have posted it in one of the trailer threads just to see if my "tonge in cheek" humor would get a rise.
I just wanted to share this post with all of my friends both near and far who have made owning an Airstream the joy it is.
I spend a little more time in my AS than a lot of folks and very few weekends. So in that I'm a little bit different, well to some... a lot different. I've just got to say THANKS! What a great group we have here.
This is a late night post from the road. I'm in a camp ground just outside of Greenville SC tonight. Of the few folks out and about in the cold the folks who checked in just before me are pulling an Excella 500 from Charlotte NC. Perhaps I'll get to meet them in the a.m. The camp operator tells me the last name is Cook. Who knows they may even be forum members already.
Thanks for letting me post number 1,000 here with you all. Hope we meet on the road soon.

Congratulations Glenn! We've enjoyed your posts and encouragement. You are a valuable forum member with much to offer, and as new owners, we've appreciated and benefitted from your comments--although we haven't read all 1000 of them!
All the best,
Janet

Glen, congratulations on reaching this milestone in posting. Almost every post I have read of yours has been beneficial to the forums in one way or another, without succumbing to the temptation of a lot of tongue in chique stuff.
They say the first 1,000 posts are the toughest...
Now, when are you going to repaint Airstream one? And what color?

Glen, 1000 - wow. I have enjoyed your posts and have copied the pictures of your air intake in hopes of modifing mine some day. Look forward to meeting you at the SpringStream Rally.
1000 posts from June '05 to now? Glen, that's well under par. Ya did it to yourself mon. The Developer's Operational Handicap (DOH) software has just set your handicap at 135 posts -- after the same interval (Oct. 2008) you must have 2135 posts to remain a member of highest standing. What did you think we were going to say?
Thank you for your fine contributions to our community! A shinier set of rivets I have never seen!!
Glen it is great to welcome you into the exclusive over a thousand club. I remember your first tentative posts when you bought Airstream One and now you are a regular contributor. Plus it is always nice to have a fellow driver in the club, there are just too many of those pullers.
