Congrats! What a beauty. Very nice looking inside too. Glad you both made it home safe. we will all be waiting for pictures on your repair projects.

My '86 345 had the same problem when I first got her. Check your rear air bags (they are probably under inflated). Adding more air to the back should raise your rear up and level the tag axle.

On mine - the by-pass nozzle to fill the airbags was in the rear compartment door (curbside) behind the wheel well.
