New Floor For Chummy

I need to show off our new floor in Chummy. The work was done entirely by my son-in-law, David. I am very proud of the work he did and happy to show it off. We just returned from a trip with our grandson and found the new floor to be dream to keep clean.

Beautiful!!

It looks great! I had been wanting to try laminate, but husband trumped me. I must admit that the dog would be happier with the traction of carpet. We will be getting the most forgiving color we can find, sigh...

Wow - love it! Very warm-looking. My husband owns a commercial flooring company and I'm always the last to get nice, new floors!

Looks like a great install too - like the side-to-side...

Hey Chaplain, did you guys have to remove your couch to put the flooring down?

The couch is actually the water tank with a mattress on top. I had put in oak doors for additional storage during a previous remodel. After the floor was installed I cut a piece of the flooring material as trim along the very bottom of the cabinet.

While traveling with Chaplain Kent this past week, he hit the gas and my dog went sliding all the way to the back of Chummy. I have to admit it was pretty funny! Then during the trip when my son spilled his chocolate milk, my dog peed inside and both dogs and my son tracked in mud, we were really appreciative of the new floors.
