Mystery Switch

Allright, here's one for ya! I noticed that there is a little switch that is mounted in the bedroom of my 345 right behind the t.v. It appears to be one that has either two or three positions. left, in the middle, and to the right and you would use your thumb to press either left or right. The other day I noticed that it had popped out and was laying next to the t.v. There are two little contacts that are supposed to go inside of it. The plastic button must have popped out under pressure. If this is a factory switch, what is this switch for? I was wondering if it might have something to do with the heating system, because that is one system I haven't explored yet. I have, however, seen a regular thermostat on the wall in the bedroom. Anyway, what in the world is this mystery switch?

Is it only one switch?
Are they same type as row just inside door beside sink?
I have a pair in the bedroom,
One controls vanity lights
Other controls lights over bed.

No, I have the two that controls the lights also. This switch is brown and is located above those behind the t.v. There is only one switch that moves to the left and right with your thumb.

@Str8strm: I am not sure. I got the little water heater thingy at the kitchen sink working if that is what you are talking about. I believe I just plugged it in though and it worked. There may have been a switch or something underneath the sink or something now that you mention it. There is a light switch in the kitchen and maybe one other switch there that I haven't figured out yet though!

Maybe a antenna amp?
I had to go out and look at mine...
A 120v plug and a coax cable / cigar lighter plug is all I had back there.

Mystery switch

Hi! I have a 86 345 but do not have this bedroom switch....I do have a brown switch across from the 3 on the kitchen cabinets next to the entry door that I have not been able to find what it goes to. If you find yours help me with mine!

ours is a vertical single "light" switch, located between the kitchen window and stove top on the wall---it is the top switch in our coach

Let There Be Light

It took me a few experiments to figure out what most of these do...
Still not sure about one by stove...
I hear a lady scream each time I flip it though.

mine looks (looked) like klattu's. Whatever you do don't turn on the flux capacitor above 88 mph.

Jag, sounds like something the PO added along the way. Maybe a speaker selector or something AV related.

Hmm, with that flux capacitor installed it kinda makes me wonder when and where your motorhome has been.....

Sure wish ours had one.....

The flux capacitor

Is the devise that makes time travel possible.
Perhaps your 345(s) can not produce the 1.21 gigawatts of power to operate them or the 88MPH needed....

JaG..if the switch is by the TV, perhaps it's a TV antenna booster switch? Don't know if your model has one of those...

Destin-ation Time

We've got the power...

Anything below 88mph, and it starts to stall.

Now this would make a nice towd...

Oh, well......

WE appreciate that we do not have a flux capacitor. But, its nice to know that the the black switch in the latrine is the Water Heater. Always wondered why my showers got progressively more invigorating.......

Maybe....if you cross wired the water heater with the flux thinge, you could cool it enough to get an extra bit of speed........never mind.

Thanks for the pictures.
