My airstream 345LE

Hi everyone - just keeping you guys posted. Made it to Alaska in 7 days -- am up in Fairbanks back in June. (4400 miles and she ran like a champ)

Here is a picture of what the interior looks like after my extensive rebuild.

Also, I started a blog called The Airstream Loft » Made for living well
where I will post all the pics etc. of the renovation.

What do you guys think?

Will be headed back to the lower 48 sometime in September -- would be fun to meet up with some AirForum peeps. Am near Fairbanks right now, if you want to go camping let me know!

Awesome looking! Can't wait to see more pics of the finished MH. I've always wanted to drive to Alaska.

Thanks! Yeah - it was a crazy drive for sure... got stuck in whitehorse cos of some flood damage on the road - but well worth the drive. I am actually REALLY psyched to be headed back down and do the whole PCH again..that is such a cool drive. Maybe we should have a Classic Moho outing?? Yeah - more pics will be up ASAP.

Real nice, it looks like you went all out and did an awesome job on your interior. I looked at few of your pictures on your blog, can't wait to see more.
We had a Forums Motor Home rally in 2002 at Mystics Springs RV Park in Florida and we had 7 Classic Airstream Motor Homes attending. It was a blast. Sure would be nice to pull something like that off again with many more rigs.

Austin, Texas. We are having our 10th annual Forums Rally (anyone is welcome, not just MoHO's) in Blanco, Texas in Dec.
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...2-a-93280.html
We are staying at Blanco SP and as an overflow location we use Blanco Settlement, which I read in your Blog you liked a lot during your travels.
I would not rule out any MOHO gathering in some cool locale this winter, there are quite a few real devoted MOHO owners on this forum that probably would love the idea.
Enjoy the Salmon

Yeah, well, we're in Austin...have been since late January...got scrap-2 in a storage place...didn't move here, but have run into snags with Tracy's dad's estate...
Haven't made a blog entry since mid-October 2011...I know, I know...but, I'm working on it...lost my password...it was in my head, somewhere, but came back to surface recently...still love your design on it.

Love, Love, Love the bathroom. How much weight did the tile add? Are you going to do the shower too? Looks great!
Thanks, Derek

THANKS!!

Yes, I also did the shower like that too - same tiles but a bit of a different design -- I will add pics soon.

As for weight - I don't think it added much - esp. since I removed a lot of stuff in the bathroom as well as a number of the overheads in the main room..

Hi, yeah the shades are a bit light and at night you can kind of see. What I am doing is making fabric squares that will have snap ons that I can take on or off whenever I want more privacy or total darkness.. I did that in the bedroom and bath -- works nice and I can easily clean them or change color themes if I want :-)
