My '83 Airstream 310 TD power step - Need advice

The original power step for my 1983 Airstream 310 TD motor home is tired. I am tired of fiddling with it and would appreciate any suggestions from people that replaced theirs. I guess I am basically looking for something that will fit right into the same place without too much modification.

If you need a new vacuum motor for your diesel step, they are out of a mid sixties Corvette headlamp vaccum motor.

Just remember to get the normally closed switch, or your steps will work backwards.....open when you close the door and close when your open the door.
