Limited/Luxury Edition

Hard to say for ours since it is a 1982. What would be considered tricked-out even in the later 80s is probably vastly different from 1981. It does have a built-in separate ice maker and wood cabinets over the dinette but the carpet has been replaced and there has been a lot of additions like wood dashboard. I'm not sure what might have made ours an LE.
We're off to Port Huron KOA today...

1979 24'

Just bought an Excella 24' Airstream Motorhome VIN No. CPS3793309965. I can see the outline of red numbers 2812. Does anyone have any information on this unit? Please add the VIN to list if anyone is still doing that. We broke down going home and hope to get it home next week. Thanks

Help! Need to call the insurance guy back

First, I'm so glad to see this thread!!! We're getting our 81 Excella 280 (FRED) Friday and the seller has two numbers on the title. I may have told our insurance agent the wrong number for the VIN. I assumed it was the 17 digit number starting with 1A9. He liked that. But now I'm seeing that it may be the 13 digit number starting with CPS. Can we get a consensus? And yes I apologize for not reading every message in the thread yet.

Thanks,
Ken

answered my own question

According to this Airstream PDF 1A9DXXXXXXXXXXXXX is a valid VIN. The only real question is the 4th digit. We don't have this - D= Center Bath, Center Kitchen, Triple Slide.
