That a beautiful barn. Like how they incorporated the preexisting structure. Is there a opening inside between the buildings. Also interesting that they erected the wood supports then poured the pad.

An 8' wide opening into the unheated section of the existing and a 42" door into the heated shop.

It was a challenge to get my design implemented and added considerably to the cost. Local code and setbacks from the river limited the option of a separate building. Other locations on the property would interfered with a view of a beautiful valley.

It also incorporates my dad's wood shed that previously occupied the site. I think the feature looks great. I picked green to diminish the size among the spruce trees.

I really like the way you engineered the addition. I think there is nothing worse than an addition that looks like an addition. You know, when you drive by and say "oh look they put a vinyl sided addition on that brick house. "
Is that an outdoor wood boiler? What kind of heat exchanger are you using? Will it supply hot water to the house as well?

Can't wait to see the work on the Airstream.

All I can say is, I have a case of 'shop envy'! Looks absolutely stunning.

Great design Dave, turns a nice little shop into a really nice big one. ( will both of your classics fit in there?).
Like the wood stacking space too, will that wall stay open for access to the wood? Does the wood fired boiler fit under that eve too?

Was that your dad on the tractor , very helpfull.

I've got basically 56x24 feet of area with ceiling over 12 feet. Two would fit fine. I'll leave the 94 in storage in Boulder until spring. I hope to replace the headliner, flooring, wall covering, and graphics on the outside in time to put it up for sale before summer.

Had too much fun with that Kubota SLV. Moved about 200 yards of fill.

I do have a nice camp site with water and 50 amp. I'll put in a small septic system next spring.

Rv storage place here uses 20ft ceilings and 15ft doors to accommodate all types.

We'll done Dave, the colors do help it blend in nicely.
I particularly like the corner detail at the top of the door openings.
A little touch like that makes such a difference in the final look of the building.

Good to see you already have some staining on the floor , whew got that behind you now and can get on with your work.

The contractor actually worked today and got r dun! I retrimmed the service doors on the existing building to match the new. I have to stain the posts on the open wall.

Should be signed off Monday.
