Motorhome CB/FM Antenna

I need to replace the combination CB/FM radio antenna that came factory on our 1990 345LE MH but haven't had any luck finding one. It's mounted next to driver side window.

Here's where I've tried:

Local AS Dealer, who in turn tried the factory.
Inland RV
Colaw's RV Salvage
Caldwell AS (said they're no longer in RV business)
Vintage Trailer Supply
All the local auto parts and Radio Shack

Anyone have suggestion that I can follow up on? Thanks.

Do you have a photograph? Is it a simple tuned whip? Which part is broken?

This could explain why you cannot find one.

Dave- Here's two pic's. To me, it looks very similar to standard AM/FM antenna with exception of the top 8" has external copper wire wrapped around (covered with black tape in pic) it that I'm thinking is the CB combo.

I found it bent at a 90* angle near the base the other morning as if someone walking by thought that would be a funny thing to do?

The post from Skip (#3) has a great article about these.

Thanks.

By the way I was able to purchase a new standard AM/FM antenna through Airstream but before I dig into installing that I still prefer to replace it with exact one that's on it now.

345Bill: I searched quite a bit and then gave up. Ended up mounting two ant. Firestik CB on the left and am/fm (Crutchfield) on the right. Both are side mounts and look just fine.
