I have heard about people driving around without the oil filler cap....
No stop in south Texas this year?

I got all excited for ya for a min the Mike cos I misread your comment about being “laid up for 12 weeks”.... in speed reading it I missed the Up.... [emoji3]

Hope it all goes smooth and speedy recovery!

Good luck Mike! I hope the back settles down and you are pain free! Tell Lynn I will be thinking of her when she has to crawl around underneath the rig. Safe travels

Thank you guys, I really appreciate the kind words. I'm sure it's going to go well. Hehehehe I'm more confident in the outcome of the surgery than I am of a "trouble free" round trip to the gulf.

Mike.....being that Lynn is going to be doing the wrenching, don’t you think she should have her own set of Snap-On tools ????

He didn't get that shop and those rigs by being shy about it!

Since so many of you guys wished me well on my surgery yesterday I thought I'd give an update. Doc said everything went well, they didn't have to cut any muscle to get to where they needed to be. I was fully conscious through about half the procedure THEN I was on on Trimaran with several "well gifted" sparsely dressed women as my crew in the South Pacific for the rest of the surgery....I told Lynn she was there too in order to keep the peace.... The device they use to thread the wires from my upper middle back down to my upper buttocks is pretty interesting and I couldn't help but think it could come in handy behind our dashboards.
They are unable to turn the stimulator on for ten days until the incisions are healed a bit. So won't feel it working for a while yet. Kinda sore but no big deal really. Thank you guys for all your well wishes.....seriously!

I guess that would depend on the situation

I had to double check to be sure I was on Air Forums when I got to the part about implanted stimulators!

Hope this improves your back issues.

Well fellers, it's another holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you down here in the States. For our Canuck friends, you already had yours! (but have a great Thursday)
