I had them made up the way I wanted and I have been quite happy for about 50,000 miles in them. I understand the fit of a seat in a nice sports sedan but I don't drive my moho like a sports sedan. I prefer a more relaxed comfort in the moho.

Dan do you happen to know where they are located. I looked all over their website and couldn't find a location of the company

Very happy so far, hence the same seats going into Peanut, but also the leather versions sitting at your place Brad, ready to ship to UK to upgrade Bella's from fabric to leather!

They are in the Santa Ana area south of Los Angeles. There is no showroom, just a factory. It is a busy complex in an industrial area. I had a problem with the adjuster on one of the armrests so I stopped by and wedged into a parking area at another business and the one of the bosses came out removed the armrest, took it inside and was back in about 10 minutes to reinstall the repaired armrest. The seats were at least 3 years old and I don't recall being asked for paperwork or receipt. They just came out nd fixed it.
I could have removed the armrest and sent it in but I was in the area and was curious to see the place. I had bought some seats from a small place in Harbor City going by the same name back in 1986 and it turns out they are the same outfit. I guess longevity says something about them.

Good deal, great info you guys. Thank you! I think we'll start by spending a couple days over in Elkhart, just see what's out there. Take in that RV MUSEUM also, I've wanted to go there anyway. At our Classic Motorhome Get Togethers, most everyone's factory seats looked in pretty good to excellent condition and some style differences when compared to ours. I thought I read somewhere that our factory seats were Flexsteel, I may be wrong about that. In a perfect world I'd like to have ours completely refurbished, but price and turnaround time may be prohibitive....I will get an estimate from the shop that did my couch though, we've been really happy with their craftsmanship on that. If they are indeed Flexsteel I assume the frame is well constrcuter. Ive also read that Brad and Hall over in Elkhart has quite a large variety of styles in a wide price range so we'll be sure to make that one of our stops. Still waiting on my last credit card statement from our long trip west.... ...that may have an affect on timing and budget!! They are overdue for attention so I gotta bite the bullet regardless. Thanks again for you ideas and thoughts.

The seats in our 85 are Flex steel I think all of the coaches from the 80s up were Flex steel but I could be wrong.

I thought I had read that somewhere John. I think there was a significant style change from '82 to '83 also.

Ordered and received Centramatics for my steer tires. Got them installed this morning, going for a test drive tomorrow. I watched the installation video and read the instructions from their website...kinda scratching my head on all the things they talked about. I ended up just removing my wheels and slipping the centramatics on and replaced the wheels. Is there anything about the installation that is critical that I should be paying attention to? Obviously there are two sized holes and I used the proper smaller tight fitting ones. Is the installation more complicated than just slipping them on? How did you other folks go about the install?
I really wasn't having problems with steering or excessive vibration but anything to make the ride smoother and extend tire wear I'm all for it. Looking forward to seeing the results from a test drive.

Mike, that's it. According to the company, 35mph is when they kick in. At Highway speed they obviously are most beneficial.

Your are welcome! If you like them and if Lynn is looking for the perfect Christmas gift for you, the rear ones real keep the dishes from rattling.
They are huge compared to the limited space front ones and are mounted between the dual tires.
http://www.centramatic.com/wheel-bal...Number=400-417
anyone can just order them direct, I just organized having them make a batch for the P-30 front axle. Here is the link for the fronts, they may still have a few left: ( http://www.centramatic.com/wheel-bal...Number=400-406 )

Yup, my 83 Flexsteels rotate completely to face the rear of the coach and allow enough space when facing each other for a bed in-between; they also have a heated and cooling massage option, air ride system and inflatable lumbar support.
Cheers
Tony

I wish; they do rotate and turn into a bed, but the only cooling massage option is when my kid kicks the back of the chair, and puts ice down my back. My air ride tends to draw angry looks from the other occupants.
Anything to illicit a win.
Seriously, check out the Volvo seats; OMG they're good, and they do have heated/cooled massage.
Cheers
Tony

Got the rig out on the highway for a test drive with the Centramatics installed. Like I had said previously, I wasn't having any perceived front end problems before installation. I also hadn't told Lynn exactly what they were all about as I was installing, she did see me pulling the wheels and what not. When I got it up to speed I asked her if anything felt different to her, she immediately said "its quieter"...I agreed. A marked reduction in road noise at speed. That's cool, especially with that bucket o bolts Diesel between us. I also noticed less road vibration in the steering wheel at 50+mph. Sooooo, I'm thinkin they are doing what they claim to do. I'm happy with the purchase. Anything to reduce road noise is a big deal with the Diesel. Ive gotten most of the shakes and rattles out and now we can talk at normal volume and hear each other........is this a good thing?
