Thanks Tony, it really has been. Long Branch State Park here in MO is so nice that we are going to stay another night. We've plenty of supplies on board and our fresh water and propane are in good shape. Temps are in the forties so its balmy compared to Colorado. We'll do some hiking and just enjoy the view. They provide good wifi so we have plenty of movies off Amazon Video. Last evening around dusk we had a whole heard of white tail deer grazing about 100 ft outside our door. Pretty cool.

Nice trip Mike, only the bleeding bank account makes me want to stop.
Park deer are so relaxed and fun to watch.
I stopped in at a place with a bunch of bunny rabbits all over the place.

It was in Tillamook Oregon, not far from an old giant blimp hanger, now an aircraft museum. Nice park just chock a block with bunnys.
I guess what they say, is true.

I'm guessing if you'd dropped Lynn at an airport and rolled on south, you might not want to go home again!
:-)

Cheers Richard

Got home about 2:30 this afternoon and got the rig all tucked in. Got it winterized right away. Great trip, over 2200 miles and the 310 never skipped a beat. Quite an adventure for sure. I have a few small things to get to but overall the rig performed A-1. Couldnt be happier.

Note to self, from friday afternoon while winterizing after we got home; DO NOT apply 50psi of air pressure to water system and THEN remember to drain the water heater.
SOCKET AND PLUG IN SPAAAAAAAACE..........no injuries were incurred during this event

I think one of the best parts of traveling in the Airstream for a good length of time is that it really narrows your focus to life in the moment. Having to concentrate our energy on the basics of food, water, shelter, warmth, etc, etc, makes for a simplicity that gets lost in our normal everyday lives. Plenty of time for fun and good times with our kids but there are basics to tend to every day while living out of the rig. We thoroughly enjoyed that. Much different than plopping yourself down in a hotel room anchored by other peoples schedules and time frames. The thought of dealing with domestic air travel right now sounds pretty horrible after traveling in the Airstream.

Looking forward to Pennsylvania in May. That will be our next long trip, distance wise.

Nice pic! Looks so cozy. I am really impressed with your last trip, and hope to do something similar in the next couple of years. Mammoth or Big Bear is not so far from me.
