So when using the additive, and add 1 pint to a fresh 60 gallons, if you fill up with fresh fuel at half a tank, do you add a half pint of additive? Each fuel stop?

Yes, in essence.
I must admit, I sometimes just add the full tank amount for a topup too...

Just replaced my wiper blades with ANCO 52-20 direct fit. Is there a way to increase the pressure of the wiper on the windshield? Mine seem pretty weak when I lift them off the glass by hand. Ive read what I could find on the subject and didnt come up with much. One suggestion was to carefully bend the wiper arm towards the glass. I realize that I dont want too much pressure for fear of motor and blade wear. Is the tension spring in the arm an item that is adjustable or worth trying to replace?

Thank you as always for any advice.

Mike

In response to your dosing question...

As I have a small tank in my 190D(14g), I use a dosing syringe(2 stroke oil thingy), and I can't remember what it equates to off the top of my head, and can't look as one of the kids is driving her while I rebuild the Subaru motor.
I want to say I add 2 syringes full... and I think they are 3ozs, so 6oz to my 14g tank.

Based upon Powerservices instructions, I would say they say 16oz for a 40g tank, so that would equate 24oz for a 60g tank.
Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost | Power Service

Also note that they say that for faster cleaning action use double...
I am wondering if you get another 10% gas milage boost????

But then I am a "if one beer is good, then 3 is better" kinda guy!

If I was you, I would buy a 32oz can, fill your tank, and tip the whole lot in... that will clean the system, and give you a chance to assess if what I have found is true for you... then keep that empty 32oz and buy a bigger one and just refill that as your measure!

You could try these....

http://www.amazon.com/SureWipe-Unive.../dp/B00PB0YCDU

There are also add on airfoils that you can install on the wiper, HOWEVER I think the flatness of the front end would make it difficult for these to work.

Or what I do is clean windshield and then add Rain-X windshield treatment or Aquapel. You can drive through a hurricane WITHOUT your wipers on with Rain-X and Rain-X windshield fluid in the tank.

Cheers
Tony

Ditto on the Rain-x, its amazing stuff. I HAVE driven the rig through pretty heavy rain without using my wipers without issue. Im a bit concerned about snow though.

I saw those little helper springs, I may give them a try. Theyve been around awhile.

All loaded and ready to hit the road West in the morning. Headed for Golden CO for 7 days then up to Fort Collins for another 6-7 days. Taking US 36 all the way to Denver, same route we took to the motorhome gathering in April. Daughter lives in Denver and son up in Fort Collins. It will be our first time in several years that we will be spending the holidays all together......cant wait. Gonna really take our time going and coming, going to drive about 250-300 miles per day. Found a couple of interesting looking little city campgrounds to overnight along US36. We should have time to explore the small towns if we feel like it.

I guess we are gonna find out if its crazy to do some cold weather camping in the 310 or not. I believe we are well prepared......we'll see about that!!

Heres hoping for dry pavement to and from!!!! Merry Christmas, Ill let you know how it goes.
