May it rest in pieces.

It was a 1982 Excella w/ Izusu Turbo Diesel
I got quite a few parts.
Thought you would like to see pictures.

May it rest in pieces.

Hey, I NEED that reflector on the right front bumper!

Seriously, if the awning is in good shape I bet someone might be interested in that.

Richard, those pictures make me sad but if some of us can use the parts to keep our coaches running maybe is all to the good. I'll still take the AC evaporator unit if you ever get that far.

Let us have a moment of silence...

A few must die that others may live. Sometimes the noblest thing is to be an organ donor.

Sad

This is a sad sight, though I have seen almost 2 dozen AS of various years and models before I left home 3 weeks ago in far worse (some better) shape. These were Katrina damaged AS's. Most had the indignity of sitting on the side of the road with huge FEMA numbers spray painted on them. Could not touch them - looting laws and the government owned them by then. Off to the whloesale lot for mere pennies on the dollar of their value. I've only been into vintage AS stuff for a few months and the sight still hurt.

as much work and emotion goes into maintaining and keeping our rigs alive, its really sad to see those photos,, but then again stuff happens. It is good that the pieces will live on in someone elses unit.
