Manuals

Hi, all -

Just a thought - if you have manuals for your A/S Moho and woujld be willing to share, why not say so here?

I have manuals for the chassis (such as they are) and for most of the components in a 1984 310LTD diesel, and would be willing to make and send copies to those neediing same.

As an owner of a 1985 345 and a person in need of manuals I think an online library would be fantastic. I just called Kinkos and they can scan the manual for $.19 p/page, that's if its more than 250 pages, less than 250 its $.39 p/page. Well worth it in my mind.

So if anyone would be willing to send me manuals for a 1985 345 I would be more than willing to start the online library and pay you for your trouble.

Thanks,
Brian

May run into copyright issues as well as liscensing issues with Airstream.

1975 26' Argosy MH

I have the chassis manual and parts catalog for the 74/75 P30 chassis, Onan 4.0BF genset, but would love to get a copy of the original Argosy manual.

I also have the original manuals for the WC (guess my nationality!), furnace, water heater and stove.

Cheers,

Andrew

For anyone looking for complete manuals on the 345 they are already posted here under "1990 Motorhome Owners Manual" in the "General Motorhome Topics" section, dated 9-9-2008. This post has helped me out quite a few times.

I've got the Airstream owners manual and service manuals for the 1984 models in pdf format. Also have the Kohler 7.0 genset manuals in pdf available.

Someday I'll have the 74 Argosy motorhome manuals in pdf, just don't have time right now.

1983 310 manual?

I have a 1983 310 and would love an owners manual, i hardly know how to operate half of the motorhomes functions. I am having some of the items like water heater and suburban heater checked by a guy in sac. right now because I couldn't get them to work.

Is the 1984 model similar?

Thanks

If you are in need of Service or Owners Manuals you might try to contact. "vox"

He is member of this forum. And an Airstream owner. I was able to buy mine from him 20 months ago after I purchased my Airstream. These are not original but are darn good reproductions printed clearly and on good paper. He now has some of them on CD that are cheaper and you get both for one money that is less then what you would pay for one on paper. I have no connection to him other than being a satisfied customer. As far as copy write goes he has informed me that he has worked that out with Airstream.

As per "vox"
"One thing that is new is that we are now officially licensed by Airstream to sell them. We have always contended that most of the material was out of copyright, they are interested in protecting the trademarked name and image of the trailer. So we have worked out a deal. And we both seem happy now."

eBay web site...
eBay Seller: vox231: eBay Motors, Books items on eBay.com

He also told me that if you brought them off this web site http://airstreammanuals.ecrater.com

You would get free shipping.

I hope that helps anyone that might be in need of manuals.

Almost always sunny here unless there is a hurricane bearing down on you. And then it's time to hook up the burb and roll. So far I've been very lucky.

I am looking for the wiring diagram for the P30 chassis for an 1986 345. I have the factory 12volt panel and the 110vac but nothing showing the tie in for the chassis to the body. My upper clearence lights do not function. I am hoping it is just a ground problem or a loose wire.

Jerry,

I don't think the P30 chassis manual shows the clearance lights. Those lights were wired by Airstream. They should be tied into the parking lights on the chassis via the IBCC light switch on your dash. Should be the last switch on the left of your dash. At least it is on our 1984 310.

I don't have an 86 specific wiring diagram for the chassis but I do have an 84 that might help you out some. I'll see if I can track it down and post it for you.

Brad

thanks, The biggest problem i am having is the rats nest under the dash. i have the light switch out and it seems the 12volts is leaving the switch but getting lost in some interconnect. it does not show up at any of the lights. I used a circuit tracer on what i thought was the hot wire and the tone did not show up at the dash. As a point of interest i found a reference to a place that had manuals.

it is over 400 pages and cost $60 plus $5 shipping

Jerry,

Yep, rats nest is the best way to describe the wiring under the dash of an Airstream motorhome . Doing what you're doing is about the only way to solve the problem you're having. Eventually you'll find the location where the connection/part is bad.

The service manual I bought from the same place covers the 310, 325 and 345 from 1984 thru 1986. Send me a PM if you're interested in a PDF file of it.

Brad
