Looking for vent cover

A low hanging tree branch got me - took off one of my plastic covers for the bedroom ceiling vent on my 1987 345 Classic MH. I've been trolling the web and I've not found anything like the original cover for sale. If anyone knows of a supplier I'd be grateful!

Pics of the original cover:

And here's the center vent cover, still intact:

And here's what the vent cover is supposed to go - over the bedroom vent cap:

Thanks in advance!

The covers that you are referring to are called "Solar Dome" covers. We were in Jackson Center last week and they had about 6 of them in the store. However Inland and Vintage trailer supply have them at a lower price. I purchased 2 through Vintage last winter, mine were cracked and dry rotted from years of being outside. You have to drill new holes through them and re-use the original hardware, you will also need new 3/4" foam weatherproofing stick tape for a waterproof seal. goodluck.

That's not it - the Solardome is what is underneath the tall plastic cover that serves as a weathershield for the actual Solardome vent cover. Not looking for that part. Since the images on this forum seem to come and go willy-nilly, here's an Acrobat PDF that shows what I'm looking for:

Oh OK, Now I see the pictures, you are indeed correct. I believe the covers that you have over the solar dome covers are not original and were either added on as a dealer installed accessory or by a previous owner. They look like they are aluminum ??? or are they grey plastic? Are there no markings or manufactures name stamped on them ? Sorry I could not help.

No markings or other identifying clues on the part. I'm the second owner (!) of the '87 MH, those covers were on the vehicle when I bought it 11 years ago. Kind of an aluminized plastic, if there is such a thing. I like them as they look like they belong on an Airstream!

OK, Lets call them "CHINESESM" then....I suggest doing a "Google" search for them, or is there a way you could contact the original owner and inquire ???

Eh. The original owners have long since become neighborly with Wally Byam, and I've search Google (and Google images) high and low for this thing. No joy there. Appreciate the thought though - GMTA.
